How to make a business card mockup
Make a business card mockup in 4 steps
No Photoshop, no PSD templates and no smart objects: upload, choose, create.
Upload your design
Add your logo or your whole card design as a PNG or JPG. A plain background around it is removed, and the paper you pick gives the card its color. Keep the name and contact at a normal size: tiny text can blur. No design yet? Try the sample card.
Choose how it is shown
Front & back, in hand, a stack, a few cards scattered on a table, flat from above or a close-up. With one design, Front & back shows the plain back of the card in your paper color.

Pick the paper and the shape
White, cream, black or kraft paper, and a standard US card (3.5 × 2 in), a European one (85 × 55 mm), a square card or rounded corners.

Create and download
Press Create my mockup. The AI prints your design onto the card, with the paper's light and texture, usually in under 20 seconds. Download the photo for your client, your print shop or your site.

In hand and close-up
Business card mockups that show the details
A card held in a hand or a close-up on a desk is the shot that sells a business card: the card fills the photo, so the name, the title and the contact come out sharp. Use it for your portfolio, for a client approval or for your website.
Shots with several cards, like a stack or a few cards scattered on a table, show the card as a set. There each card is smaller in the photo, so small text can shift a little: they work best with a logo or a bold name.

Paper and shape
White, cream, black or kraft paper
Pick the paper the card will be printed on. White and cream suit most designs; kraft gives a natural, handmade look; black makes a light or gold-colored design stand out, but a dark design on black paper will not show.
Then the shape: a standard US card is 3.5 × 2 inches, a European card 85 × 55 mm, and square cards and rounded corners give a more modern feel. A whole card design fills the card; a logo on its own sits in the center.

Your file
Logo or whole card design
You can upload just your logo, and the card shows it on the paper you pick, or your whole card design with the name and contact. A plain white or single-color background around the design is removed before printing, so a full card loses its background color: choose the matching paper instead.
Keep the text at a normal size for a business card, around 7 pt or bigger. Tiny text, like a line under a logo, can blur or change. If your file is small or soft, run it through the image upscaler first. No logo yet? Make one with the AI logo generator.

Front and back
Front and back business card mockups
Front & back shows two cards side by side: one with your design and one turned over. With one design, the back comes out plain, in the paper color, the way many cards are printed.
For a printed back with your logo, make a second mockup with the logo file and the same paper and shape, and show the two photos together. For mugs, posters, tote bags and more, use the mockup generator.
