Front and back hoodie mockups from one file
Hoodies are often printed big across the back, with a small logo on the chest. Pick “On a man”, “On a woman” or any other view for the front, then “Back print” for the back: the design is printed large across the upper back, below the hood. Same file, same hoodie and color, so the two photos match in a listing.
On a zip-up hoodie, a front design goes on the left chest, clear of the zipper. For a big print on the front, choose the pullover hoodie or the crewneck sweatshirt.

The pullover hoodie is the classic: a hood, a kangaroo pocket and the print on the chest above the pocket. The zip-up hoodie has a full-length zipper, so a front design sits on the left chest and the back stays free for a large print. The crewneck sweatshirt has no hood and no pocket, which leaves the most room on the front.
All three come in the same 12 colors. Black, heather gray and navy are the ones most stores sell. A white design reads best on a dark hoodie, and a dark one on white, sand or light pink.

Which design file works best
A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest print. A logo or graphic on a plain white or single-color background works too: before printing, the tool removes the background around the design, so you do not get a white box on a black hoodie. White parts inside the design, like the inside of a letter or a badge, are kept.
What does not work as well: a photo with a busy background, which is printed as a rectangle; very thin lines or tiny text, which can blur in the fleece; and white designs on a white hoodie, which simply do not show. Why the print looks real
PSD templates paste your design on top of a stock photo with a smart object, and everyone in your niche uses the same few photos. Here the AI makes a new photo each time and prints the design into the fabric: it follows the folds of the fleece, takes the same light and shadows, and the texture shows through the ink.
It is told to keep your design as it is, letters included. The shapes and the words come out right almost every time, but small details can shift: thin text may come out a little bolder.
